The Japanese specialists at Abflug decided to release a tuning kit for the Mercedes SL, the previous generation to be more precise.
We don’t know why Abflug picked the previous SL rather than the current one but we do know that the improvements brought by the tuner are quite nice.
At the exterior, the company provides a wide body kit including new front and rear bumpers, a rear diffuser, side skirts, new hood with air vents and carbon fiber parts.
The German model sits on new 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with 255/30 R20 (front) and 305/25 R20 (rear) Falken tires. Last but not least, Abflug says that the SL R240 Platinum gets an improved chassis along with a retuned suspension.
The new Mercedes SL tuning kit developed by Abflug will be unveiled at the upcoming 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon, an event which will open its gates early next year, in January.
