AC Schnitzer is a well-known tuning house for its kits developed for BMW models. However, they are also taking other brands into consideration even here is not that situation as MINI is one of BMW’s sub-brands. The MINI Cooper Coupe is the latest model that receives AC Schnitzer’s treatment, a package which includes several aesthetic improvements but no power upgrades.
The exterior receives a new set of 17-inch Mi 1 alloy wheels or larger 18-inch Mi2 BiColor wheels and special graphics on the side part.
Inside, the German tuner offers aluminum pedals, new gear knob with digital display, velour floor mats and new handbrake handle. Other features of AC Schnitzer MINI Cooper Coupe include a sports rear silencer, a revised braking system with 4-piston and slotted discs but also a new, height-adjustable suspension module.
The racing suspension system also comes together with rear antiroll bar and a stiffer spring kit. According to the company, there are some performance packages which are currently under development. The engine tweaks will be introduced soon along pricing and availability details.
