The Italian carmaker Alfa Romeo has recently unveiled the top of the line Alfa Romeo Giulia QV at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, and still has a lot to offer to make the entire Giulia line-up more suitable for its top competitors from BMW, Audi or Mercedes-Benz.
Thus, according to a local media report, the carmaker is planning to bring the entire Giulia fleet to the UK, starting next September. This means that the Italian company is still rethinking its strategy concerning the engine line-up it will come with.
Little it is known so far about the engines it will bring along, but given the fact that the top of the line is packing an extremely powerful engine, we should expect the other Giulia versions coming with rather the same powertrains.
In the Giulia QV, the engine refers to a Ferrari-developed 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, with 503 horsepower, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. This is more impressive than its top predator, the BMW M3.
Once it will be launched on the market, the Alfa Romeo carmaker is planning to release 400,000 Giulia models each year, with prices yet to be settled. But given the fact that it will be aimed against the C-Class, Audi A4 or BMW 3-Series, prices would be as close as these ones.
