The Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo announced that they will introduce the double clutch TCT transmission on the MiTo model. This change suffered by Alfa Romeo MiTo will be introduced at the incoming Paris Auto Show. The MultiAir engine with a capacity of 1.4 liters and a total output of 135 horsepower will benefit from the double clutch TCT transmission that improves the performance of the model.
Thus, the Italian model equipped with this TCT transmission manages to reduce the fuel consumption to from 7.4 liters / 100 km to 7.1 liters / 100 km while the CO2 emissions are set to 126 g/km, with 3 g less. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 8.2 seconds for the model equipped with the MultiAir engine and the new transmission.
