The Italians at Alfa Romeo came up with a promise to make a return to the U.S. market but since then, they’ve been seriously taking their time to do so.
Our latest of news see them pushing the date back to 2013, don’t worry though, there is some softener with that blow.
In claiming to return with top honors, the company’s first launch on the American market is going to be the stunning Alfa Romeo 4C that we saw at the Geneva Motor Show.
How much better can it get for the Americans? One of the most iconic brand in motoring history is going to start selling cars on their market and the first one is a sports coupe.
If the 1.75 liter engine isn’t that good for you I’m sure you’ll be turned around by a turbocharger, a rear wheel drive system and a TCT dual-clutch transmission may end up changing your mind.
Perhaps a lightweight sports car like they made in the good old days is exactly what everybody needs to love Alfa Romeo once again.
That’s the theory at least and my motoring joy can’t help but hope that Alfa Romeo will one day rise on top once more.
