The Germans at Audi took the new S1 once again on the local roads for testing. The hotter version of the Audi A1 is rumored to pack a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit producing 200 horsepower.
Combine this with a quattro all-wheel drive system and a low total mass and you should obtain quite good performance figures.

In terms of styling, the new Audi S1 is expected to benefit from new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a new set of alloy wheels, a quad-pipe exhaust system and a revised front grille.

As you can see, the German model is still heavily camouflaged, therefore, it is very unlikely to see a world premiere next month at Frankfurt.

Even so, the new S1 is still quite close as most rumors claim that we should expect a Geneva Motor Show debut in March. More details and photos will be available in the coming months.
