The Japanese carmaker releases official pricing figures for the new Mazda6 in the United States. The base model is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder unit offering 184hp and 250Nm of torque returning a combined fuel economy of 29mpg.
For now, this is Mazda’s single engine for the United States, a 2.2-liter SKYACTIV-D engine following to join the lineup later this year.

If the entry-level i Sport version is not enough, Mazda offers the i Touring model which brings more features such as larger alloy wheels, leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and more.

The range-topping offering is the i Grand Touring which gets bi-xenon headlights, heated seats, a power moonroof and few other tweaks. The base model starts at $20,880 while the top-of-the-range version costs $29,495.

“An optional Touring Technology Package ($2,000 MSRP) adds a TomTom technology-based navigation system, Bose Centerpoint 11-speaker Surround Sound System with AudioPilot,” says Mazda.
