With the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show opening its gates this month, we get a closer look at the upcoming Mercedes E400L Hybrid, a model which will be seen in world premiere at the aforementioned event.
The new E400L Hybrid will be made in China and benefits from a 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 333 horsepower and 480Nm of torque.
An electric motor is also part of the powertrain and should increase the total output to around 400 horsepower. As its name suggests, Mercedes will sell this model as a long-wheel base version with other markets following to get the E400 Hybrid, based on the normal wheelbase.
These three spy photos come from China and show few styling improvements for the new German sedan while inside, you can also see the instrument cluster.
