Toyota released official pricing figures for the new Avalon in the United States.
Carrying a starting price of $30,990, the entry-level Avalon sedan benefits from a 3.5-liter V6 unit capable to deliver 268 horsepower. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and returns a fuel economy of 25mpg (EPA).
The Japanese car maker offers a total of four trim levels starting with the XLE and continuing with the XLE Premium, XLE Touring and Limited.
There will be also a hybrid variant of the new Avalon, a model using a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine and two electric motors. The total output is rated at 200 horsepower with a combined fuel consumption of 40mpg US.
