The new Audi A6 Avant gets now a complete package of improvements from the German specialists at ABT Sportsline. Even we talk about an estate model which is more a family car than a sport model, ABT tuners decided to offer some performance upgrades as well.
To begin with, the new A6 Avant gets some minor but stylish aesthetic tweaks with an aerodynamic body kit with side skirts, front apron, 19 or 20-inch alloy wheels, quad-pipe exhaust system, a roof spoiler and a rear apron. These are the noteworthy improvements, not surprising as we talk about a brand-new model which already comes with a good appearance.
On the other hand, ABT Sportsline claims that the 3.0-liter turbo diesel unit is now able to deliver 240 horses instead of the standard 204 horsepower. However, this is not the only performance upgrade, the TDI version receiving also a power boost, offering now up to 300 horsepower.
Lastly, the new A6 Avant benefits from a revised 3.0-liter TSI engine, a gasoline unit which gets extra 120 horsepower over the stock engine. This means that the V6 gasoline engine develops now 420 horses and is capable to hit 100 km/h in 5 seconds.
