The Germans at Audi announced a top version for the Audi A1 model for the Paris Auto Show. A new engine version will be available for the new A1 and it will be introduced at the French Auto Show. We are talking about a propeller with a capacity of 1.4-liter able to develop 136 kW (185 hp) and 250 Nm (184.39 lb-ft).
Anyway, the 1.4-liter TFSI 185 horsepower engine will be available together with the S-Line kit and the Ambition package for around 24.000 euro (price available in Germany). The manufacturer in Ingolstadt announced some performance features of the new top of the range of A1, the little model being able to achieve a top speed of 227 km/h and the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.9 seconds.
The Germans revealed through an official press release the fuel consumption of the Audi A1 1.4-liter TFSI, 5.9 l/100 km (19.87 mpg) and the CO2 emissions of 139 g/km (223.7 g/mile). The sports version S1 is expected at Paris but no official confirmation is available.
