Audi Confirms RS Q3 with 367 HP

View

Citing Audi, the carmaker is planning a hardcore version of the RS Q3 which will develop 367 horsepower, once it will be launched on the market in the second quarter of the year. This version will cost 61,000 euro in Germany and will be officially launched at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

We are actually dealing here with the revival of the Audi RS Q3, first launched in 2014, which at that time, the model packed a 2.5-liter flat-five turbocharged engine, with 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. Now, the same engine has been tuned-up to deliver 367 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque.

Thanks to the new power, the new Audi RS Q3 is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, being 0.4 seconds quicker than the 2014 RS Q3 version. The top speed stands at 270 km/h, which is also a significant improvement from the standard electronically limited 250 km/h.

Apart the sheer performance, the Audi RS Q3 features an extremely aerodynamic body style, comprising a more aggressive front bumper with wider air inlets, rear bumper with a standout diffuser, and a few more. Additional features include the Acari blue metallic exterior color or the high-performance seven-speed S tronic transmission for a better handling and increased torque.
