View

Audi decided to unveil a new concept model, this time one focused on efficiency and zero emissions. The Audi e-tron quattro concept comes with a total of three electric motors capable to deliver 435 horsepower for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,6 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h.

There’s also a boost mode that gives you over 500 horses. Measuring 4,8 meters long and 1,93 meters wide, the Audi e-tron quattro concept has a very sloping roofline with a good drag coefficient of 0,25.

Besides the electric engines ,there is also a lithium-ion battery that promises to offer a driving range of around 500 kilometers. To provide such good figures, it may need a big battery pack.

In conclusion, charging could be quite slow but Audi promises a charging time of just 50 minutes if you use a 150 kW DC charger.

The exterior look is certainly quite futuristic with sharp headlights and a big front grille. Inside, you’ll find the same approach with a virtual cockpit that has a lot of displays, a digital instrument cluster and much more. This new concept should preview an upcoming production model. For now, it can be seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the concept version.
