Good news for the American customers having the new R8 GT on their wishlist. The Germans from Audi announced the pricing for the new supercar, a price of $196,800 in the United States. Audi plans to build the new Audi R8 GT in a limited edition of 333 units while 90 of them are going to be available on U.S. market.
The GT version of the German supercar gets 553 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque, additional 35 horses being available compared to the standard model. With such resources under the hood and with a little help from the R tronic transmission, the new R8 GT hits a top speed of 320 km/h while the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 3,6 seconds.
In terms of style, 19-inch alloy wheels fits the supercar alongside various carbon fiber parts and a titanium front grille. Thanks to the lightweight materials used in the manufacturing process, the model has a weight of just 1,525 kg.
At the interior, you get what you expect from a $200,000 supercar, namely carbon fiber trim, a sport steering wheel, Alcantara upholstery and much more.
