With its debut set for the Shanghai Auto Show on April 19th, the new Q3 crossover gets teased by the Germans from Audi through a set of sketches and renderings. The new Audi Q3 will borrow various aesthetic features from its bigger brothers but of course will get new dimensions that will fit the model into the crossovers segment.
Moreover, the front gets a revised shape alongside a dual-pipe exhaust system in the back and five-spoke alloy wheels. At the interior, we get high quality materials such as aluminum and wood trim.
There aren’t any official details about the units that will provide power for the German crossover but we assume to see a 2.0-liter TDI unit offering 168 horsepower coupled to manual and automatic transmissions but also a more potent 2.0-liter TFSI engine delivering more than 200 horsepower.
As many other manufacturers, such as BMW who decided to reveal the new BMW M5 F10 at Shanghai, Audi also picked the Chinese auto show to introduce an important model, a proof that the automotive market in China gets more and more attention.
