Audi unveiled a new version of the TT RS, namely the TT RS Plus, a model which gets subtle aesthetic improvements along with extra horsepower under the bonnet. To begin with, the new Audi TT RS Plus is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged unit delivering now 355 horses and 465 Nm of torque.
Translated into figures, the German model sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,1 seconds before hitting the top speed of 280 km/h.
The special edition is available both for the Coupe and Roadster versions, the latter being 0,1 seconds slower when paired with a S Tronic gearbox.
“Even more powerful, even faster, even more dynamic: Early 2012 will see the launch of the Audi TT RS plus. This compact sports car, in both Coupé and Roadster versions, stands out for its awe-inspiring performance,” says the German car maker.
Audi also released fuel consumption figures, the new TT RS Plus being able to return an economy of 8,5 liters/100 km for the Coupe and 8,6 liters/100 km for the Roadster model.
In terms of styling, the German designers offer a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels with red accents, a new front grille and revised carbon fiber-reinforced polymer side mirrors. The new Audi TT RS Plus Coupe starts from €60,650 (manual gearbox) and €62,800 (S Tronic) while the Roadster version is priced from €63,500 and €65,650.
