Honda is launching a new special edition of the all-new CR-V model in Australia, which is no other than the long-expected CR-V Limited Edition, now joining the rest of the CR-V fleet released last year.
The 2016 Honda CR-V Limited Edition will cost $32,990 in the two-wheel drive configuration and $35,690 in the all-wheel drive layout, with a $5,500 worth of additional features.
From a visual standpoint, the 2016 Honda CR-V Limited Edition comes with auto headlights with wipers, side steps, fog lights, tailgate with rear spoiler, as well as the one-off 18-inch alloy wheels.
Stephen Collins, director at Honda Australia, declared in a recent statement:
“As more newcomers join the mid-sized SUV segment, the CR-V has cemented its reputation as a very compelling SUV for Honda customers. For those customers looking for something extra, the Limited Edition has the key features expected by shoppers in the market for a proven SUV.”
The 2016 Honda CR-V Limited Edition packs the latest technology, like the Honda Lane Watch camera technology which uses a side mirror camera to show views of the passenger-side blind-spot.
In the engine department, the CR-V Limited Edition is equipped with the same 2.4-liter naturally aspirated flat-four engine, just like the regulat VTi, developing 140 kW and 222 Nm of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 10.3 seconds.
In terms of fuel consumption, the TWD versions burns out 7.7L/100 km, while the AWD variant goes higher with 8.7/100 km.
