In terms of safety systems, all versions come with a lot of high-end feaures that make them compliance with the five-star standards. We are looking here at stability and traction control, braske assist and brake force distribution management, hill-start assist, anti-lock brakes and cruise control coming as standard.
In the engine department, the 2017 Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series lineup packs a 4.5-liter turbo-diesel V8 engine, developing a good 151 kW and 430 Nm of torque. The engine also comes with a diesel particulate filter as well as piezo-electric injectors, all of them increasing its smoothness. The mill is also hooked to a five-speed manual transmission, with longer ratios for the seconds and fifth gears.
