There is a lot of activity going on these days in Australia, with a lot of carmakers to present their latest hot rides in first official videos and reviews. One of these is Mercedes-Benz, which has announced the arrival of the G300 CDI pickup truck.
Once it will officially arrive in dealership in early 2017, the all-new Mercedes-Benz G300 CDI will have a base price of AUD D$119,900, which is the equivalent of $89,282.
As we can depict from the photos below, the Mercedes-Benz G300 CDI pickup truck comes with the latest mechanics in terms of driving dynamics, including a snorkel, bull-bar, drain plugs drilled into the floor, as well as the 16-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 265/75 all-terrain tires.
Overall, the model weighs 2,120 kg, making it extremely agile while cruising on different off-road terrains, being able to approach 38-degree angles or 35-degree departure angles.
Inside, the cabin is also tweaked with the latest gadgetry, including infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, and adding vinyl seat covers, armrests, rubber floor mats, air conditioning, storage compartments and much more.
In the engine department, the all-new Mercedes-Benz G300 CDI pickup truck comes with V6 turbodiesel with two 12-volt batteries and a fuel tank of 25 gallons. Power is set at 181 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, providing a 50:50 weight distribution to all wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission.
