Here we have some spy photos with the upcoming BMW 2 Series, the Coupe model to be more precise.
We already got the opportunity to see the open-top version of the new German model prototype few months ago.
The new model will gain several centimeters in dimensions compared to the current 1 Series and will also benefit from a revised rear end. Under the bonnet we should expect to see both gasoline and diesel units with displacements ranging from 1.6- to 3.0-liter for the petrol engines and several 2.0-liter diesel engines.
Considering that we face prototypes found in an early stage of development, the camouflage layer is quite thick which makes our mission to spot the key improvements harder.
However, in terms of styling, we should expect sleeker lines, slightly reshaped optical blocks and other minor improvements at the interior.
