BMW officially pulled the wraps off the Active Tourer Concept, a prototype which is going to be seen in world premiere at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
The new concept is a five-door hatchback model measuring 4,3 meters in length and 1,8 meters in width.
Of course, power is provided by a hybrid power train which consists of a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol unit and a synchronous electric motor for a total output of 188 horsepower.
The 0-100 km/h sprint is done in eight seconds while the top speed is rated at 200 km/h.
According to the company, the new BMW Active Tourer Concept returns a fuel economy of 2,5 liters/100km with CO2 emissions of 60 g/km.
There are some assumptions which say that this concept is meant to preview the forthcoming BMW 1 Series GT front-wheel drive model. More details on BMW’s new concept will be released at Paris.
