BMW confirmed that they will reveal the new Concept M135i at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show previewing the production model which follows to hit the market soon. This prototype is the latest addition to the high-performance M model range and is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine with around 300 horsepower.
To be more precise, the German company will unveil the new concept a day before the automotive event at a special event. At the exterior, we can see a new set of 18-inch double-spoke alloy wheels, new M sports braking system, a lowered ground clearance and larger air intakes.
“The BMW Concept M135i consistently utilises the dynamic potential of the new BMW 1 Series for the concept of the first BMW M Performance automobile featuring a straight six-cylinder petrol engine,” adds BMW.
According to BMW, the designers wanted to give the Concept M135i a sportier look using nothing but elements which could be found on a production model. Therefore, the production version of this new concept should be quite similar to the prototype pictured above.
