BMW officially unveiled the new BMW Z4, a model which receives subtle styling improvements being a facelift of the current generation of the German roadster.
In the U.S., the 2014 BMW Z4 will be offered with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit offering 240hp, a more powerful 3.0-liter with 300hp and 335hp but also a 2.0-liter turbocharged with an output of 154 horses and 240Nm of torque.
This unit will be find under the bonnet of the BMW Z4 sDrive18i and is capable to provide a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7,9 seconds with a top speed of 221 km/h. Fuel economy figures are rated at 6,8lt/100km (34,6mpg US).
Styling improvements for the Z4 facelift include new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels, revised headlights with LED lights, three new Mineral Grey, Glacier Silver and Valencia Orange finish and also other minor tweaks.
Inside, customers will benefit from leather and Alcantara, revised door panels and stitching.
The 2014 BMW Z4 will be unveiled at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show following to go on sale in March 2013.
