As we mentioned above, the version of the current E-Class Cabriolet picked by the German specialists is the E 350 CDI model which comes with a 3.0-liter diesel unit able to produce 231 horsepower. The additional 50 horsepower squeezed from the V6 unit by Carlsson are available mainly due to a remapped ECU unit and the new exhaust system, thus, major modifications under the bonnet were not needed, however, 50 extra horses will make their presence felt in certain situations. The speedometer will also suffer some modifications, the tuner needing to convert the standard unit to 330 km/h in order to fit the new performance.
