Chevrolet released details and photos on the last special edition of the Avalanche SUV, a model which will quit the market soon.
The Chevrolet Avalanche has been introduced back in 2001 and was one of the most promising models in its segment at that time. After 11 years, the American company announces the retirement of the model but in a specific way.
To be more precise, the Chevrolet Avalanche receives a special edition called Black Diamond.
“The Chevrolet Avalanche was one of the earliest forays into re-inventing the traditional pickup truck. Other variations on the theme from competitors followed the Avalanche’s debut,” commented Michelle Krebs.
The LS version of the Avalanche Black Diamond receives new systems such as rear park assist, a rear camera, remote start, fog lamps and also power adjustable pedals. A better-equipped LT model is available as well in the range.
The entry-level two-wheel drive Avalanche LS starts now from $35,980, Chevrolet saying that the price has been reduced by around $2,500.
