As we all know, the Camaro didn’t really stand a chance but what we don’t really know is that it just turned 45.

In order to celebrate the occasion, Chevrolet took the opportunity, freshened it up a bit and eventually tinkered around under the bonnet.

Starting with the familiar shape of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro we see here a set of 20 inch aluminum wheels a unique graphics package, a special red stripe.

Apart from a few other styling tweaks available the 3.6 liter direct injection V6 also gets some more power.

Final figures for the 45th anniversary Chevrolet Camaro call for 323 horsepower and that’s well above what the V6 Mustang can offer.

Even though there’s not a lot of power updates, Chevrolet’s Camaro 45 anniversary might include a new FE4 suspension setup, a couple of solid stabilizer bars.

The interior of this particular Chevrolet Camaro features a Jet Black leather interior with red, white and blue stitched seats adorned with a 45th anniversary logo.

Apparently the dashboard gauges have been changed as well and that suggests that Chevrolet really tried to make this Camaro feel special.
