The new Chevrolet Silverado receives today a special edition which brings extra equipment and some other tweaks.
Designed to be sold only in Texas, the American pick-up model gets new 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, chrome accents, a locking rear differential and revised bumpers. Inside, you will find new materials, trim and a Bose audio system for the LTZ variant.
Under the hood we will find a base 4.3-liter V6 offering 285hp or a more potent 5.3-liter V8 engine producing 355 horses.
“The Texas Edition is available either on the midlevel Silverado LT or on the more upscale LTZ,” says the company.
A revised steering system is also available for the Silverado Texas Edition as well as a better braking system and suspension. If you want the new model but you are not from Texas, Chevrolet will be offering a Custom Sport pack which promises to bring similar features.
