The Americans from Chevrolet released photos and details on the new Trax SUV, a model which has been confirmed for this year’s edition of the Paris Motor Show, the automotive event scheduled to begin next month.
The new Trax is 4,2 meters long and comes with three units including two gasoline and one diesel engine. We talk about a 1.4-liter 138hp petrol unit and a larger 1.6-liter engine.
The diesel range includes a 1.7-liter turbocharged engine capable to deliver 129hp and 300Nm of torque and coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission.
“Trax has sufficient space to accommodate five persons in a comfortable high seating position. It will deliver car-like handling while also enabling off-road capability when needed,” claims the car maker.
Expect the new Chevrolet Trax to hit the European dealerships early next year with orders following to begin after the debut. Pricing and availability details will be also released next month at Paris.
