Chevrolet decided to release few details and photos on the Silverado Toughnology concept ahead its debut at SEMA.
The American pick-up truck stands out thanks to the special exterior finish, 22-inch alloy wheels, tubular side steps, a black hood, a mesh grille insert and the side graphics.
Under the hood sits a massive 5.3-liter V8 powerplant producing 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The extra power is obtained thanks to a sports exhaust system as well as a new air intake.
Interior features of the Silverado Toughnology concept include a rear-seat entertainment system, OnStar 4G LTE, Wi-Fi hotspot, heated leather seats and an inductive smartphone charger. Of course, we talk about a concept model, but none of these features are impossible to be offered in a mass production model.
With this been said, we have to wait for SEMA and see Chevrolet’s plans with the Silverado Toughnology concept.
