Chevrolet pulls the wraps off a new special edition dedicated to the Japanese market. We talk about the Camaro Giovanna Edition, a model introduced today at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon.
Being based on the current Camaro generation, the American model benefits from 20-inch alloy wheels, new body stripes and three special finishes, namely Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White and Black and Yellow.
The entry-level model is based on the LT RS variant which benefits from a 3.6-liter V6 powerplant while a more potent SS RS model with a 6.2-liter V8 is also available.
Interior improvements for the Chevrolet Camaro Giovanna Edition include new door sill plates, leather upholstery and embroidered logos.
As mentioned above, Chevrolet plans to introduce this model only in Japan with prices starting at 4,990,000 YEN. The V8-powered version costs quite more being priced from 5,990,000 YEN.
Chevrolet forgot to mention if this is a limited edition or the customers don’t have to be worried that all the units are already reserved.
