Just in case you feel like BMW doesn’t make a car that’s not racy or uncomfortable enough CLP automotive is ready to provide just such a conversion for the M3.
Consisting of a new special widebody kit, a BMW specific racing livery and a serious amount of technical updates, the point of this creation is quite impressive.
Impressive and as hardcore as the actual BMW M3 GT Le Mans racing car. Also impressive is how CLP Automotive can “hook you up” with this kit for just under 100.000 dollars.
On top of the widebody aspect there’s a new CLP Automotive front apron, a fresh hood, new front fenders and side skirts as well as a fresh GT rear spoiler.
Underneath the new looks, CLP Automotive gives the M3 GT a new set of tries wrapped around the 19 inch wheels and the final piece of the lack of comfort kit includes a Bilstein shocks as the racer.
If you think this conversion is a little light on the kit you’ll likely be thrilled to know that CLP Automotive, courtesy of some help from G-Power, also provide a supercharger kit here.
With the forced induction layout, BMW’s 4.2 liter V8 engine goes up a notch from 420 to 600 horsepower. Some of that gain is however credited to the Akrapovic titanium exhaust system.
The interior doesn’t get too much work but it’s just enough to make the CLP Automotive BMW M3 GT feel like nothing more than a track car.
Rear seats are removed, front seats are replaced by Recaro buckets and there’s a roll-cage added in.
