The main reason for the Romanian model to win the big prize in its category is the well equipment level and performance according to the price tag. More exactly, the 4×2 Laureate 1.5 dCi version of Duster managed to take the first place in the “Family Cars” category. The model is exactly what you need and nothing more for this price, this might be the reason why Duster ranked first.
There are plenty of other categories in this competition but we will talk more about Duster’s segment, where it managed to overcome few important and prestigious models.
From the list of competitors, Dacia Duster managed to dust models such as Opel Meriva or Kia Sportage. The 1.5 dCi Laureate version which won the Argus award is able to develop 90 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque while the top speed is around 155 km/h.
