DC Avanti is the first sports car that India has ever got its hands on, the model now receiving some significant body style and power upgrades, carried out by its special division, DC Design.
The DC Avanti by DC Design will be built in a limited edition, and will be launched next April.
The DC Avanti limited will come with a more aggressive body style, consisting of a carbon fiber front splitter, sill extensions or rear diffuser. The rear end is also standing out with the carbon fiber wing.
The model can be had with a choice of three exterior colors, like matte grey & orange, grey & green, or white & blue.
Other features include the new suspension system which lowers the car`s ride height by 0.7 inches, or stiffer-roll bars. Inside, the cabin is tweaked with Alcantara sports seats, leather steering wheel and the TFT instrument cluster dials.
The most significant upgrade remains under the hood, where the 2.0-liter engine from Renault churns out a good 310 horsepower, hooked to a standard six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automated manual. Only 31 units will be produced worldwide, each one coming with a price tag of $65,876.
