The German specialists from DMC decided to release details on the tuning package designed for the Gallardo LP540 and LP560 models. According to the official details, the Lamborghini Gallardo Generazioni GT3 models are designed to celebrate the victory of Fabio Babini and Matteo Zucchi, two Italian drivers who managed to win the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo race which took place few days ago at the Silverstone circuit.
The GT3 versions of Gallardo LP540 and LP560 bring both aesthetic and performance upgrades, full details being released by the German tuners at DMC.
Under the bonnet, Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 produces 572 horsepower and 575 Nm of torque while the LP540 version develops 558 horsepower. These improvements are mainly due to a remapped ECU unit while a twin-exhaust system can be ordered too. Besides the performance upgrades, the German tuners offer some styling improvements, components mainly made of lightweight carbon fiber.
To be more precise, the exterior appearance is improved by a wide body kit featuring carbon fiber panels, a new front apron, wider fenders, a new spoiler, side skirts but also a revised rear part with a new bumper, diffuser and a huge wing available in fiber glass or carbon fiber.
According to the official details, the Italian supercars benefit from 9.5Jx20-inch forged Diamond rims wrapped in 235/20ZR20 tires (front) and 13Jx20 rims with 325/25ZR20 (rear). The interior could not be missed, the German specialists preparing a package that largely matches the exterior improvements. Entering the cabin you will find a new pair of sport seats made of carbon fiber, personalized mats, a leather upholstery on request and carbon fiber trim for the steering wheel and door handles.
The Blancpain Super Trofeo race took place on 5th June at the Silverstone circuit in the UK. As mentioned above, the tuning packages developed for the Gallardo LP540 and LP560 models are designed to celebrate the double-win of the Italian drivers Fabio Babini and Matteo Zucchi.
