The all-new Fiat Tipo Estate which completes the Tipo lineup for the moment, was recently unveiled ahead the 2016 Paris Motor Show, with the model already to be announced in the EMEA – with regions which include Europe, Africa and Middle East – the starting price being set at €14,900. On the other hand, the top of the line version is also available at €17,300.
The Fiat Tipo Estate comes standard with a lot of features inside, like electric windows, climate control, Uconnect radio, six airbags, and a few more.
Those who can`t settle with standard features, can have more tweaks as optional, including the 7-inch high-resolution color touchscreen, voice recognition, TomTom 3D built-in navigation system, AUX and USB ports, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, rearview camera and so on.
In the engine department, the entry-level version comes with a 1.4-liter petrol engine, good for 94 horsepower, while the higher version compresses a 1.3-liter MultiJet engine, with the same 94 horsepower.
Other engines follow down the line, such as the T-Jet 120 horsepower petrol as well as the LPG, with 1.6-liter diesel 120 horsepower, hooked to a DCT dual-clutch transmission.
The all-new Fiat Tipo Estate is being built in Bursa, Turkey and is the direct competitor of the Volkswagen Golf, Opel Astra, Renault Megane and Ford Focus. Ever since its release, the new Tipo has been a successful model in the EGEA region, the elegant Italian car being already sold in around 65,000 units.
