The Mazda Japanese based automaker has just released some additional performance details with its European model, 2015 Mazda2.
The manufacturer states that the engine lineup will now include some new powertrains, meaning that the Mazda2 will receive a new 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-G petrol, producing 75 horsepower and 125 Nm of torque in the base entry-level, via a 5-speed manual transmission.
The 1.5-liter will have a fuel consumption of 4.7 L/100 km and will come with 110 g/km of CO2 emissions.
The SKYACTIV –G Petrol burner will also come with higher power, meaning 90 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque, hooked to 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
This version is also fuel efficient, as it will only burn 4.5 liters every 100 km in the manual version, while the automatic will put out 4.8 liters / 100 km.
The 2015 Mazda2 in the 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-G with i-ELOOP technology will develop 115 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque, hooked to a 6-speed manual.
The diesel will not be forgotten, the manufacturer announcing a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-D, outputting 105 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque.
