Honda carmaker released the first batch of photos and details with the all-new 2017 Civic in Europe a few days ago, with the model popping-up into the spotlights again in an impressive gallery, which showcases its gorgeous exterior and interior.
Once it will arrive in Europe – first in the United Kingdom, starting March – the 2017 Honda Civic is going to be a totally new vehicle in terms of driving dynamics, technology and performance under the hood.
Compared to the previous model, the new Civic is now looking bigger and wider, measuring 136 mm longer, 20 mm lower and 30 mm wider, all figures contributing to the car`s sportiveness. The car`s aggressive look is also enhanced by the new and more rigid chassis, now featuring a new rear multilink suspension with high-performance adaptive dampers.
As aforementioned, the interior of the new 2017 Honda Civic also boasts with the latest technology, thanks to the company`s new 7.0-inch Connect infotainment system with a plethora of safety features, including Forward Collision Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Traffic Sign Recognition and much more.
Also, the interior has gained extra space and room for the rear passengers, while the cargo capacity is now standing at a total of 478 liters.
As for the engine department, the all-new 2017 Honda Civic is offered with new engines, such as the 1.0-liter three-cylinder with 127 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque, hooked to a standard six-speed manual transmission. This one comes with a fuel-consumption of 4.7L / 100 km, while the CO2 emissions stand at 106 g/km.
On the other hand, the 1.5-liter four-cylinder Vtec Turbo develops in turn 179 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque, paired to the same six-speed manual. The fuel-efficiency is set at 5.8L / 100 km, while it burns our just 133 g/km of CO2 emissions.
