I have always admired the XX supercar series from Ferrari, but the Italian carmaker`s recent creation – the FXX-K Evo – exceeds all expectations in terms of design language and aggressive aerodynamics. We can say for sure that it is by far the most beautiful and insane take on a Ferrari model.
The bad news is that the Ferrari FXX-K Evo is a track-only car built in a limited number of models worldwide. We are not sure how many will be built, but you will be the first to know once further details surface on the web.
This is an extreme machine built by Ferrari Style Centre and it`s based on the LaFerrari, with mechanics borrowed from the GTE and the Challenge Series. So sit comfortable in your armchair while we provide you with all you need to know about this magnificent ride.
Futuristic design and highly-advanced aerodynamics are now standard when it comes to developing the most outstanding supercars in the world, and the Ferrari FXX-K Evo has more than it takes to achieve perfectness – the best aero features, more downforce, plenty of new mechanics and one hell of drivetrain under the hood.
Visually, the Ferrari FXX-K Evo`s design language is highlighted by vortex generators, front fins, twin-profile rear wing, wind side vents, rear wheel arches with by-pass vents or air-extracting rear diffuser, all allowing for better airflow. More than that, the downforce has been also improved by 23 percent, increasing as well the supercar`s stability, stance and of course, performance.
Other important characteristics that help the new FKK-X Evo achieve incredible performance refer to double-wishbone front and multilink rear suspension package with 398 mm and 389 mm brakes at the front and rear, respectively, 19- and 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 285 and 345 tires.
Performance wise, the all-new Ferrari FXX-K Evo packs a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, with 633 kW. The electric counterpart outputs another 140 kW. The total of 773 kW is sent to the wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission.
As for price tags, recent reports estimate that one particular model could easily exceed $1 million, which is quite impressive for such an impressive ride.
Ferrari FXX K Evo has its roots in another dream car, LaFerrari, but with specific attributes among which we mention the improved downforce.
