Given the current realizations of the automotive industry, it’s quite clear that designers from just about all companies have stepped up their game.

Some are still lagging behind but let’s be honest, finding work as a designer these days could be very difficult. That is unless you have a smashing portfolio.

Which is what up-and-comer Alex Imnadze is building up at the moment. The newest addition to his hit collection is the Ferrari Quattroporte.

The Fiat family is no stranger to the world of high speed supercar like four door sedans. In fact, by pushing the Maserati Quattroporte further, they brought the segment to life.

Prosche and Aston Martin quickly joined in, to great success. Meanwhile, ever rivals Ferrari and Lamborghini didn’t go the same route.

Actually, Lamborghini had a stab at it with the Estoque concept which was brilliant but never materialized. I fear the same is about to happen here.

With the Ferrari four door being nothing but a design study, we’re not likely to ever see it turned into a one-off concept, let alone a production car.

That’s not enough to put us off. The fact of the matter is that Alex designed an interesting car and we can’t help but admire it.

Right ideas seem to be present all over the place in order to identify this as a Ferrari. The lack of any idiotic vents does mean that a front engined setup was opted for.

It’s a sensible decision in such a car and we’d be willing to bet that it’s a V8 like in the Ferrari California that you can see there.
