Few big Japanese car manufacturers affected by the recent earthquake

Due to today’s earthquake and tsunami in Japan, several big car manufacturers had to suspend the activity of their local plants. During this day, Japan has been hit by a devastating 8,9 magnitude earthquake and other several replicas. This major earthquake caused damages of hundred million dollars and has different consequences such as threatening tsunamis.

All these incidents caused confusion, chaos and problems of all kind in Japan, from the telephone lines fall to the electricity break down. Few car manufacturers such as Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Subaru announced that they have to temporarily close the plants that suffered from the disaster that happened today.

The Japanese from Nissan had to close four factories in Kanagawa and Tochigi while few employees suffered minor injuries from the earthquake. Toyota’s plant in Miyagi got temporarily closed for few hours for safety reasons but meanwhile the activity returned to normal.

Unfortunately, people from Honda reported a tragic incident, one of their employees lost his life after the building collapsed while more than 20 other workers suffered other injuries. They also had to close two of their plants in Japan.
