With the occasion of the New York Auto Show, the Italians from Fiat decided to unveiled the North American version of Fiat 500C, a model that will join the already existent 500 Coupe in the US market. As you probably guessed, the most attractive thing of 500C in comparison with the Coupe version is the retractable soft top. According to the official press release, you can lower it even at speeds of around 100 km/h, 60 mph to be more exact.
Scheduled to enter the market before June, the US version of Fiat 500C comes with a starting price of $19,500 and it’s ready to face the competition in the segment.
In terms of power, Fiat fits under the bonnet a 1.4-liter MultiAir unit that manages to develop 101 horsepower and 133 Nm of torque. Afterwards, it’s your choice if you want a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic one, as both of them are available in the range.
Inside, you get a leather steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity and air conditioning alongside other features expectable for a new model being launched these times.
