The Fiat Italian based automaker has released the first images with the 500L Vans Concept, which will face public debut at the 2014 Vans US Open of Surfing.
The so called Fiat 500L Vans Concept has been especially designed for the 2014 Vans US Open of Surfing event, the model taking its inspirations from the well-known shoes producer, the VANS.
The VANS is very popular amongst surfers and skaters and the Fiat 500L Vans Concept has been specially designed for these kind of people.
Jason Stoicevich, the head of Fiat in the United States, reported that the 2014 Vans US Open of Surfing is the perfect opportunity for the Fiat automaker to showcase its products, especially the Vans Concept.
The Fiat 500L Vans Concept will be coming with a lot of interesting features, like four rings of LED daytime running lights, revised front grille, or a 3-tone exterior finish.
More tweaks include a roof rack for two surfboards, the checkerboard pattern found on the roof, VANS stickers inside, alongside canvas seats, waffle sole tread pattern and storage bins.
Under the hood, the Fiat 500L Vans Concept will be powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged MultiAir gasoline, developing a good 160 horsepower, the unit being hooked to a 6-speed manual.
