Fiat officially debuted a special edition based on the Freemont crossover. The Freemont Black Code is set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show and is the twin brother of its American counterpart, the Dodge Journey Blacktop Edition.
It is powered by a 2.0-liter MultiJet II unit producing 170 horsepower while a more potent 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 delivers 280 horsepower.
While the diesel model is offered with a front-wheel drive system, the petrol unit gets a six-speed automatic gearbox as well as the four-wheel drive configuration.
At the exterior, the Italian model stands out thanks to a set of 19-inch alloy wheels, tinted headlights and a gloss black front grille. Inside, there is an updated infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display, a premium audio system and heated leather seats.
Pricing and availability details were not released yet but will be available very soon.
