The British customers who are looking forward to a small city car can cheer up as Fiat introduced the 2012 model year Panda, a model which receives few styling tweaks along with extended engine range. Under the bonnet, the Italian model gets a 1.2-liter petrol unit with 69 horses, a smaller 0.9-liter TwinAir petrol engine offering 85 horsepower and also a 1.3-liter turbodiesel with 75 ponies.
Fiat offers a range of three trim levels starting with the base Pop variant which includes four airbags, power windows and Dualdrive electric power steering. Moving forward is the Easy trim level which features air conditioning, a high performance audio system, remote central locking and roof rails.
Fiat says that the new Panda comes with an extended range of exterior finishes, up to 10 to be more precise. Inside, the Italian car maker provides 6 color combinations.
The top-of-the-range Lounge model benefits from heated electric mirrors, side moldings, new 15-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps and body-colored mirrors.
The Fiat Panda Pop starts from £8,900 (OTR) while the Lounge 1.3 MultiJet, the range topping model, is priced from £12,250.
