Fiat pulled the wraps off the new Fiat 500L, the larger version of well-known 500 model. The new Fiat 500L will arrive in the United States somewhere next summer in both version, standard and Trekking.
Under the bonnet we find a 1.4-liter MultiAir engine delivering 160 horsepower and 249Nm of torque.
The four-cylinder unit is linked to a six-speed manual transmission while a dual clutch gearbox is also offered as optional. Compared to the Fiat 500L, the Trekking version benefits from larger 17-inch alloy wheels, revised front and rear bumpers, wider fender arches and a revised interior.
“The all-new 2014 Fiat 500L expands the Cinquecento’s appeal by offering more than 42 percent more interior space with spacious seating for five,” adds Fiat.
Standard features of the new 500L include 6.5-inch touchscreen system, Bluetooth connectivity, voice recognition and more. The new models will be built at the Kragujevac plant in Serbia.
