German Special Customs decided to start developing a styling package for the BMW i8, the German hybrid supercar. Today they released a series of photos and details in order to make us aware of their upcoming kit.
However, full details are expected to be released in the coming weeks. Until then, we find out that GSC offers a new front bumper with large air intakes, new side skirts, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and a rear bumper with faux exhaust tips.
According to the official images, they opted for a two-color exterior finish but we can’t be so sure yet as these are basically just renderings.
Under the hood expect the same hybrid powertrain offering a total of 362 horses for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
Fuel economy figures should remain the same, namely an average of 2,1 liters/100 km or 112 mpg US. We are still waiting for more details on German Special Customs’ package, maybe we get to see some performance tweaks too.
