With the new generation of the Mercedes E-Class already revealed, artists started to imagine how the high-performance AMG version will look like.
Here we have the first rendering of the upcoming Mercedes E63 AMG, a CGI based on the revised E-Class lineup presented few days ago.
The high-performance Mercedes E63 AMG should get a revised body kit including better-looking front and rear bumpers, side skirts, larger alloy wheels and other minor tweaks.
Under the hood, we will see an AMG-sourced engine, most likely the 5.5-liter V8 producing 550 horsepower and 719Nm of torque. With such resources, the 0-100 km/h sprint should be possible in just 3,5 seconds with a top speed exceeding 300 km/h with the optional Performance Package.
Mercedes will offer both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive or 4MATIC versions for the new E63 AMG. There are no official details but the German carmaker might debut the new car at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show this month.
