Ford plans to introduce special edition of the current-generation Fiesta, a model specially designed for the British customers which will be built in a limited series of only 1,000 units. According to the manufacturer, the new Fiesta Metal special edition is available only as a three-door model with three different exterior finishes, namely Frozen White, Midnight Sky or Panther Black.
The styling improvements of the American model include 17-inch alloy wheels in a black finish, front apron, new fog lights covers and a dual-pipe exhaust system with chrome trim.
At the interior, the supermini model gets new leather sports seats in Ebony Black with silver stitching, Piano Black ornaments, stainless steel door scuff plates and special floor mats.
Under the bonnet sits a 1.6-liter Duratec petrol unit able to deliver 134 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque, enough resources for a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 8,7 seconds. Other features of the new Fiesta Metal edition include front, side and knee airbags for improved safety, Home Safe headlights and the standard ESP, EBD, ABS safety systems.
Ford announced that the special edition dedicated to the British market starts at £15,695.
