Hennessey US-based tuner is back into the spotlights with their latest news on their custom and most potent Ford Focus RS.
A couple of weeks ago, the technicians have expressed their wish of transforming the Ford Focus RS into something extremely powerful, way too powerful than the stock version, the real proof standing the plethora of teasing images and videos.
And the team recently promised to deliver their most potent RS in just 30 days. All we have to do now is wait to see the final result.
But until then, let`s take a look at the tuner`s special power kit, which is no other than the HPE400 kit, meaning that the same 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine will produce 400 horsepower, which is a significant increase from the stock 350 horsepower.
This is achieved thanks to the plethora of changings and customizations, including a new engine software, with high-flow air filter, new intercooler and turbocharger, as well as custom stainless steel mid pipe for the exhaust with electronic dump valve.
Other highlights also refer to the fitting of the “HPE400” and “Powered by Hennessey” badges on the body. The parts cost $2,995 but with the new dyno tune and other components, the total amount is set to $4,995.
Hennessey tuner is well-known for its extreme body styling and power kits on hot models such as the Venom GT or the Cadillac CTS-V, the latter one developing a whopping 1000 horsepower, but from time to time, it also offers more affordable kits like this one seen here on the Ford Focus RS.
