Here is some good news for all the British customers which are upset that the Americans from Ford decided to bring the sporty Focus ST in the local market only starting next year. The new Focus Zetec S won’t bring any engine upgrades but it will sport a revised exterior.
The special edition can be ordered with two diesel units, namely the 1.6-liter 115hp and the more powerful 2.0-liter 163hp. Of course, Ford offers an alternative, namely a 1.6-liter 125hp petrol engine but also a more powerful 1.6-liter EcoBoost unit developing 180 horsepower.
The top-of-the-range unit is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7,9 seconds and hit a top speed of 222 km/h. In terms of styling, the new Ford Focus Zetec S gets a body kit including new front and rear spoilers, 17-inch alloy wheels but also LED optical blocks in the rear.
Entering the cabin you will find aluminum pedals, a new pair of sport seats and also new trim packages. The new Focus Zetec S gets a starting price of £18,745 OTR.
